Production Achievements
Robertson and Caine was initially established in 1991 to focus on the custom-built sailing yacht market.
The company is the largest boat-builder in Southern Africa and one of the biggest catamaran builders in the world,
having over 1781 superbly built boats to its credit, and is currently building a range of production catamarans for
both the international charter and private markets.
Robertson and Caine's boatyard is headquartered in Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa, a few
kilometres from the city centre and the harbour.
In 2003 construction of a new office block and production facility, doubled the factory size to 35,000 square meters.
Due to continued growth and new projects, the company has expanded to several new sites in Cape Town.
Robertson and Caine now occupies under 58 627 square meters, across 4 Production sites and 3 support sites, incorporating six production lines (producing up to three catamarans in a production week).
In September 2015, stores were centralised in a new Distribution Centre, housing stores and administration services.
